The Steward role at the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville represents an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated stewarding team that upholds the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in a world-class luxury environment. This position is essential to the efficient operation of the kitchen and food and beverage areas, ensuring all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are meticulously cleaned and maintained. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and a commitment to following all safety and sanitation protocols. The Steward must be proficient in using dishwashing machines and a variety of cleaning solutions safely and effectively. Maintaining back-of-house cleanliness throughout the kitchen and food service areas is a key responsibility, alongside ensuring the employee cafeteria remains a clean and sanitized space.

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine
- load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store properly
- clean and sanitize all ovens, steam kettles, mixers, and other kitchen equipment as well as kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls
- clean, dust, sweep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff kitchen production areas and hallways
- clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using correct cleaning and rinsing solutions
- maintain cleanliness of back of the house food and beverage areas including silverware, cutlery, glassware
- safely utilize and store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials including soaking solutions using correct protective clothing
- ensure the employee cafeteria is well maintained, clean, and sanitized
