The candidate will perform essential duties such as operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors. The role requires managing the cleanliness of kitchen and store rooms, handling deliveries, storing perishables, and rotating stock appropriately to ensure food safety and hygiene.

Additionally, this position requires diligence in washing and disinfecting tables, tools, knives, and various kitchen equipment using detergent and sanitizing chemicals in a three-compartment sink system. The role demands scrutiny and care as the employee inspects cleaned items, re-washes those not meeting standards, and prepares clean ware for proper storage. Managing waste disposal—including glass, cardboard boxes, and other recyclables—is also a key function, ensuring adherence to environmental and company policies.

Safety and security compliance is paramount, with clear expectations that the employee follows all company policies, reports any hazards or injuries, and engages fully in safety training and certifications. The physical aspects of the job include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance, along with activities such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and bending or reaching.
