The TUL Stewarding position within River Spirit Casino Resort plays a crucial role in supporting the culinary and food service operations. Under the direction of the Sous Chef on duty, the incumbent is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the dish machine and maintaining the cleanliness of all related areas. This role is essential in upholding the resort's commitment to sanitation and food safety, ensuring that all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. The Stewarding team member helps create a safe, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, which directly impacts guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting where adherence to food handling safety regulations and professional conduct are prioritized. The role includes maintaining food service areas, managing waste disposal, assisting culinary staff as needed, and contributing to the overall maintenance of kitchen equipment and workspaces. Job Requirements
- ability to read, write and understand English
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- basic computer skills including email and electronic time-clocks
- previous experience required
- valid Tulsa County Food Handler's Card
- ability to pass comprehensive background check
- ability to pass drug test
- ability to obtain gaming license when required
- physical ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
- ability to squat, crouch, reach, and maneuver in kitchen and casino areas
- visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics, color and symmetry
- clear speech for communication
- ability to hear and understand spoken words
- manual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- operates dish machine and a three compartment washing sink
- ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition and free of any contamination risk
- removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition
- stocks all plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning
- cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment
- must have working knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation
- maintains care and cleanliness of kitchen equipment, walk-ins, work areas, utensils, etc.
- maintains a professional appearance at all times
- may assist culinary staff when required
- assumes or performs other duties as assigned
