The position of Steward at Sodexo, specifically located at Lucas Oil Stadium, offers a part-time employment opportunity with a pay rate of $17.75 per hour. This role is crucial in supporting food service operations by maintaining a spotless, safe, and well-arranged back-of-house environment. Stewards play a vital role in ensuring that kitchens and service areas operate smoothly during restaurant functions, banquets, concessions, premium services, and catering events. The position requires flexibility with varying shifts and open availability, as work hours can differ based on event schedules and operational demands. The Steward works closely with supervisory and culinary staff to meet sanitation standards, handle equipment care, and uphold overall kitchen cleanliness. This job also demands physical endurance, including the ability to lift and move equipment as required.

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- previous experience in stewarding, sanitation, or food service support roles preferred

Job Duties
- Support opening and closing sanitation procedures for food service areas
- assist with organization and proper storage of equipment, supplies, and service ware
- handle waste, recycling, and grease removal in accordance with established procedures
- maintain floors, drains, and work surfaces to meet cleanliness and safety standards
- lift and move up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
