The Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is currently seeking a Steward to join its dynamic culinary team. This part-time position plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, thereby ensuring that culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Steward’s responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and upholding high sanitation standards across all kitchen areas. This role supports the overall guest experience by enabling chefs and kitchen staff to focus on food preparation in a clean and safe environment.

- one year previous experience as a steward or dishwasher
- strong communication skills between co-workers and guests
- legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine
- load and unload dishware and flatware from dishwashing machine and store properly
- clean and sanitize ovens, steam kettles, mixers, and other kitchen equipment
- clean kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls
- clean, dust, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff kitchen and pastry shop production areas and hallways
- clean and sanitize pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using correct cleaning and rinsing solutions
- safely set-up, clean, and utilize silver burnishing machine to clean, polish, sort, and transport silver
- place damaged or worn pieces in a designated area for repair
- safely utilize and store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials using correct protective clothing
