Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment and supplies over 50 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, stoop, and move intermittently throughout the workday
- work in a healthcare setting with potential exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and chemicals
- ability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting preferred but not required
- ability to follow safety, dietary, and sanitary procedures
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Properly set up and break down the dish machine and dish landing area
- perform the de-liming of the dish machine following proper procedures
- ensure all dishes, pots, pans, and small wares are cleaned and sanitized efficiently and in accordance with health regulations
- maintain the general cleanliness of the entire back of the house, including cleaning tables, shelves, walls, floors, cooler areas, and loading dock areas
- follow sanitary procedures for the disposal of food and waste, ensuring a clean and safe work environment
- assist in the setup and breakdown of special events
- help with food storage upon receiving deliveries and ensure proper handling and organization of supplies
- assist servers during lunch service by bussing tables and ensuring dishes are removed promptly
- remove trash throughout the day and ensure timely disposal of waste
- follow all dietary and sanitary procedures in accordance with facility policies and state/federal laws
- follow infection control guidelines and maintain privacy rules and regulations as per HIPAA
- attend all meetings and complete in-services and mandatory training
- provide exceptional customer service and high-quality care by showing compassion and empathy towards residents and their families
- perform other duties as assigned
