Job Requirements
- Clean transport and store all pots and pans used in food and beverage operations
- maintain the pots and pans room in a clean and orderly manner
- clean and sanitize china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans
- ensure kitchens have proper amounts of utensils and racks
- maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchens and food prep areas
- assist with food prep and storage maintenance as directed by chefs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is a plus but not required
- ability to learn and follow sanitation and safety standards
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- team-oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize all utensils, pots, and pans
- clean and organize the pots and pans room
- maintain cleanliness in designated kitchen areas including ovens, grills, stoves, and fryers
- ensure proper storage of cleaned items
- assist with food preparation as directed
- transport and store kitchenware properly
- support chefs by maintaining food storage areas
