Stewards must follow infection control guidelines and privacy rules under HIPAA, attend required training sessions, and participate in in-service meetings to stay updated with best practices. Exceptional customer service is also a key component of the job, requiring the Steward to show compassion and empathy towards residents and their families at all times.
