The Steward position at Sonesta International Hotels is a key role within the culinary team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen environment. The Steward ensures that pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly according to established time, product, and placement standards. This role supports the culinary operations by enabling a sanitary and efficient workspace, which directly impacts guest satisfaction. The pay rate for this position is $18.02 per hour, aligned with union contract requirements, specifically under the Unite Here Local 17 union.

The Steward works closely with chefs and kitchen staff to uphold food safety standards and maintain hygiene, which is critical in delivering high-quality food service. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach to cleanliness. Job Qualifications
