Known for blending timeless glamour with a spirit of innovation, the St. Regis brand offers exquisite luxury accommodations and unparalleled service in over 50 locations worldwide. The Bal Harbour Resort exemplifies this commitment, delivering a refined guest experience that seamlessly integrates classic sophistication with modern sensibility. As a luxury resort, it provides an environment where guests expect the highest standards of hospitality and comfort, making it an exceptional workplace for professionals in the hospitality and food and beverage industries.

Joining the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort means becoming part of a global team that values cultural diversity, talent, and the unique experiences each associate brings. Marriott International champions equal employment opportunities and fosters an inclusive workplace that celebrates differences, ensuring all employees feel welcomed and empowered to excel.

This full-time, non-management position in the Food and Beverage and Culinary category involves crucial duties in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas. The role focuses on the operation and upkeep of cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, hand-washing stations, pot washing stations, and garbage compactors. Employees will be responsible for washing and sanitizing kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, knives, and other equipment to meet the resort's exacting hygiene standards. The role requires receiving deliveries, properly storing perishable goods, rotating stock, and ensuring clean dishware is stored in designated areas.

Duties also include the use of chemical detergents, disinfectants, and rinse agents applied through a three-compartment sink to ensure all dishware is effectively cleaned and sanitized. The employee will inspect, sort, stack clean items, and return dirty items for re-washing, ensuring nothing compromises the food safety protocols. The role involves various physical tasks such as reaching above head level, bending, twisting, and lifting items up to 50 pounds independently. Employees will also be tasked with waste management, including emptying trash bins, maintaining the garbage deposit area, recycling cardboard and glass appropriately, and keeping their work areas clean by sweeping and mopping.

This position requires adherence to company safety policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions, as well as completing all safety training and certifications. Protecting company property and communicating professionally with colleagues are essential parts of the role. It is vital to work collaboratively within the team to achieve shared operational goals and uphold quality standards. While no prior experience or supervisory background is required, and no formal secondary education or GED equivalency is necessary, the position provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills in a prestigious luxury hospitality setting.

By joining St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, candidates will embark on a career path within one of the most renowned brands in the hospitality industry, gaining valuable experience and access to future growth opportunities within the Marriott International portfolio. This role offers the chance to thrive in a professional environment dedicated to excellence, where every team member plays a role in creating memorable guest experiences and sustaining the world-class reputation of the St. Regis brand.
