Job Description
Pechanga Resort and Casino is a premier hospitality and entertainment destination known for its exceptional guest experiences and commitment to excellence. As a renowned resort and casino, Pechanga offers a luxurious environment with a wide range of amenities including fine dining, gaming, entertainment, and spa services, catering to a diverse and discerning clientele. The resort is dedicated to providing Four Diamond service standards, ensuring every guest encounter is marked by attentiveness, professionalism, and a welcoming atmosphere. Employees at Pechanga Resort and Casino are empowered and expected to embody the Four Diamond commitment to customer service, maintaining high-quality standards across all departments to create memorable experiences for guests.
The role of a Food and Beverage (F&B) Busser at Pechanga Resort and Casino is vital in supporting the servers and enhancing the overall dining experience for guests in the resort’s dinner houses. As a secondary service line, bussers contribute significantly by providing efficient back-of-house table service, ensuring that every guest's needs are anticipated and met promptly. This position involves direct and indirect interaction with guests, helping to maintain a smooth and enjoyable dining atmosphere. Bussers work as part of the service team to clear tables, reset dining areas to management’s standards, and maintain water service throughout the guests’ meal. They also assist servers with various duties to ensure seamless service delivery.
Bussers play a critical role in creating a network of support at each table, enabling servers to focus on taking orders and managing guest relations effectively. They provide bread service as specified by the outlet’s menu and act as ambassadors for the guests by relaying messages to servers and addressing guest requests whenever possible. This position requires a high level of attentiveness, teamwork, and customer service skill, as bussers are responsible for interacting warmly with guests, greeting them with a friendly demeanor, and ensuring their dining experience is comfortable.
Working at Pechanga Resort and Casino also means committing to ongoing learning and compliance with the resort's service guidelines, including mandatory classes for service team members within the first 90 days. The resort provides thorough training and certification opportunities, such as TIPS certification and a Food Handler’s Card, to ensure that all staff members uphold safety and service excellence. Bussers do not hold supervisory responsibilities but are key contributors to the hospitality team, supporting the front-of-house staff in delivering exceptional service. This position is ideal for individuals who are personable, capable of performing physical tasks such as tray service, and eager to contribute to a high-energy, guest-focused environment.
