This specific role is a full-time, non-management server position on the evening shift, offering a pay rate of $19.40 per hour, including tips. The role is based on-site at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel and involves direct interaction with guests in the food and beverage department. As a server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences that leave lasting impressions. Your duties will include warmly welcoming guests, serving food and beverages efficiently, providing recommendations, sharing in-depth menu knowledge, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal. Use of the MICROS system to accurately process transactions in a timely manner is also a key element of this position.

Successful candidates bring a positive attitude, strong conversational skills, and a team-oriented mindset. Prior server experience is preferred but not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their hospitality skills within a reputable and supportive hotel environment. This role requires physical capability to move and lift up to 25 pounds, stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods, and maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform. Prior to employment, candidates must complete safety training and certification.
