The Front Desk Supervisor at Staybridge Suites Reno plays a critical role in upholding the hotel's high standards of guest service and operational excellence. This supervisory position involves leading a dedicated front desk team by example, ensuring every guest interaction is friendly, efficient, and memorable. Acting as the hospitality hub, the Front Desk Supervisor manages daily front desk operations including greeting guests warmly, handling check-ins and check-outs smoothly, managing reservations, and addressing VIP guest needs with special attention. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining operational details like tracking logs, coordinating messages and packages, and ensuring quick and professional response to all front desk tasks. Moreover, the Front Desk Supervisor contributes to maximizing revenue by staying informed about room rates, packages, and promotions, thereby balancing guest satisfaction with business objectives.
Leadership responsibilities are a key component of this role, where the supervisor not only oversees staff performance and training but also nurtures a positive and communicative work environment. Part of the job involves managing guest concerns and resolving workplace challenges efficiently while maintaining safety standards and procedural compliance. Certification in areas such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid may be required to ensure full compliance with hospitality regulations. The position might require a valid driver's license and involves a competitive benefits package available after an initial waiting period for full-time employees. Benefits include options such as daily pay, medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability and life insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. If you are a passionate, service-oriented leader who thrives in a vibrant team environment and seeks to make a meaningful impact on guest experiences, the Front Desk Supervisor position at Staybridge Suites Reno offers a compelling career opportunity.
