Job Requirements
- Minimum 19 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping or guest service in a similar casino or hotel environment preferred
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move product up to 50 lbs
- Fine finger manipulation
- Work in environments with variable temperature, lighting, and noise
- Work indoors and outdoors during special events
- Regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping or guest service in a casino or hotel environment preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain professionalism in guest interactions
- Familiarity with hotel operational systems and procedures
- Ability to multitask and coordinate among departments
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Capability to operate in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Job Duties
- Answer incoming calls to the housekeeping department and log information regarding guest service requests
- Coordinate with the hotel front desk regarding early check-outs and stay-over guests
- Update housekeeping supervisors on available, dirty, and vacant rooms that need cleaning
- Ensure daily staffing levels are adequate
- Control and log the issuance and receipt of all hotel pass keys
- Notify supervisors of room changes affecting room status
- Attend to guest room needs such as lost and found items, irons, coffee pots, extra blankets, cribs
- Log all lost and found items and coordinate storage with Security
- Coordinate and follow up on repair requests with Engineering
- Prepare and submit required paperwork and reports to the Executive Housekeeper
- Perform guest room attendant duties as needed
- Maintain open communication with housekeeping supervisors and managers on all housekeeping and guest service issues
- Address guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Recognize team members who exceed expectations using the Nugget's system
- Consistently follow Nugget policies, and local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain a safe work environment and report unsafe conditions
- Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Perform other duties as assigned
