Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in customer service or related field preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- basic knowledge of city geography or willingness to learn
- comfortable using GPS-enabled smartphone
- physical ability to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
Job Duties
- Assist riders to check-out a bike to begin a trip
- find an available dock to end their trip
- provide personal greeting and answer questions for riders
- dock and undock bikes
- manage inventory and provide counts to operations
- inspect station, docks, and bikes for safety, operability, and cleanliness
- troubleshoot problems as needed
- ensure station equipment, kiosk, dock, and bike presentation standards are maintained
- maintain knowledge of the bikeshare system and city geography to provide excellent customer service
- follow safe work practices to maintain a safe working environment
