Job Description

Hilton is a globally renowned leader in the hospitality industry, celebrated for its exceptional service and commitment to creating memorable guest experiences. With a history spanning more than a century, Hilton operates a portfolio of world-class hotels and resorts that welcome over 3 billion guests worldwide. Known for its award-winning workplace culture, Hilton has been repeatedly recognized on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune. The company prides itself on fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for its Team Members, providing ample opportunities for career growth and professional development. Hilton's mission is to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, a vision that guides every interaction with guests and employees alike.

The role of Station Cook at Hilton is more than just a culinary position; it's an opportunity to be a vital part of the guest experience by preparing and delivering high-quality cold food items that contribute to the overall hospitality atmosphere. As a Station Cook, you will prepare menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring that every dish served delights guests and meets Hilton's rigorous expectations. This position demands a strong knowledge of advanced cooking techniques, including sauces, roasting, grilling, and plating, with the ability to work independently on your station as needed.

Your responsibilities will include managing multiple guest orders efficiently, inspecting dishes before they are served to guarantee presentation and quality, and maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace following proper food handling and safety protocols. You will also be expected to assist with training new team members and occasionally take on minor supervisory duties, demonstrating leadership and commitment to teamwork. Compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations is critical to ensuring the well-being of both guests and team members.

Hilton values qualities such as hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a focus on the present moment. These core values drive the success of their Team Members and the satisfaction of their guests. In return for your dedication and skill, Hilton offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your overall well-being and professional growth. This includes incredible travel perks through the Go Hilton travel program, where you can enjoy deeply discounted stays at Hilton properties worldwide, an employee stock purchase program allowing you to invest in Hilton shares at a discount, paid parental leave, caregiving support services, crisis concierge assistance, mental health resources, generous paid time off, and a variety of health and welfare benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Joining Hilton means becoming part of a company that not only delivers exceptional experiences to its guests but also cultivates an outstanding workplace culture that values its employees. Whether you are just starting your career or looking to explore new opportunities, Hilton supports your journey every step of the way. The Station Cook position is a chance to contribute to a vibrant team dedicated to making every guest stay magical while building your career in the dynamic hospitality industry.
