The role of the Line Cook Supervisor is pivotal in ensuring seamless kitchen operations and top-quality food production. The successful candidate will oversee the preparation and execution of menu items by following established recipes and yield guides. Acting as a leader on the kitchen line, this position involves directing, training, and monitoring the performance of Line Cooks to enhance productivity and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include preparing and assigning production and prep work, reviewing task priorities, and adapting work distribution throughout the shift as needed. Setting up and breaking down workstations with proper mise en place and tools is essential to ensure smooth workflow. The Line Cook Supervisor also communicates with the Sous Chef regarding supply requisitions to support daily requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The position demands flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, emphasizing teamwork and delivering great guest experiences.

Job Requirements
- 5 years experience as a Line Cook at a hotel/resort or restaurant
- Ability to work all stations on the line
- Food handling certification required
- High work ethic and self-initiative
- May be required to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting 10-25 pounds
- Visual ability to read screens and printed materials
- Ability to work in a standard office environment when needed

Job Duties
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides
- Directs, trains, and monitors performance of Line Cooks
- Maintains organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks to complete
- Review priorities and communicate changes throughout the shift
- Set up work station with required mise en place, tools, equipment and supplies
- Breakdown work stations and complete closing duties
- Inform the Sous Chef of supplies that need to be requisitioned
