The State Program Administrator - Campus Events Coordinator role is a full-time, classified position at Minneapolis College. This role is central to the successful logistical planning and execution of campus events, acting as the primary point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external customers. The coordinator manages all aspects of event coordination, from the initial inquiry stage through to the event's completion, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with college policies. Salary for this position ranges between $23.98 and $34.69 per hour, which equates to $50,947 to $73,706 annually.

In this capacity, the Campus Events Coordinator is responsible for providing second-level administrative oversight concerning contracted services such as food service. This includes precise processing of facility use agreements and account invoicing, alongside maintaining meticulous records of facility usage and rental revenue. The role also involves facilitating reservations through the event management system (EMS) software, guaranteeing efficient communication and coordination across departments. As the designated on-site coordinator for evening and weekend events, the incumbent must be adept at managing staffing, event support, setup, and post-event cleanup to uphold the college’s standards.

Critical responsibilities include coordinating daily setup schedules, collaborating with various campus teams such as ITS leadership, Facilities Building Maintenance, General Maintenance, and food service vendors. The coordinator must ensure that event details and schedules are well documented and disseminated to all relevant parties. Furthermore, the role requires acting as a liaison to college stakeholders for campus-sponsored events, ensuring high-quality execution within the system's regulatory framework. The position demands excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and effective communication to work with diverse groups across the college community. The work schedule primarily follows a Monday through Friday pattern from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend hours to support special events.

Job Duties
