Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in one or more areas of automotive repair including engine repair steering and suspension brakes and heating and air conditioning
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand or walk for extended periods
- Where required maintain ASE certifications in steering and suspension brakes heating air conditioning electrical engine repair manual drive train and axles engine performance and automatic transmission transaxle
Job Qualifications
- Experience in engine repair steering and suspension brakes heating and air conditioning
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- ASE certifications in relevant areas as required by state or local law
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to lift heavy objects and stand or walk for extended periods
Job Duties
- Diagnose recondition and repair vehicles to ensure customer safety and satisfaction
- Work as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively
- Build experience as an automotive mechanic across domestic and foreign vehicles
- Follow and promote high standards of safety cleanliness and organization
- Repair engines adjust steering and suspension check brakes and heating and air conditioning units
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain detailed documentation of repairs and maintenance
