Job Requirements
- Some knowledge of basic cake decorating
- Prior pastry culinary experience and/or culinary school degree or combination of education and experience
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong technical pastry skills
- Ability to read Banquet Event Reports and run banquet events
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Necessary State Food Handler's License(s)

Job Duties
- Prepare pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and production schedules
- Assist with basic cake decorating and finishing techniques
- Support banquet and event production by reading and executing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Ensure consistency in quality, flavor, and presentation of pastry items
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper setup of pastry workstations
- Assist with daily preparation, plating, and replenishment of pastry items
- Follow all sanitation, food safety, and safe food handling standards
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting production deadlines
- Communicate effectively with culinary and service team members to support service needs
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures as assigned
- Other tasks as assigned
