The available position is for a State Fair Administrator 1 or Trainee, a key player in the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Events Unit. This full-time role is based at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY, and involves a comprehensive schedule typically spanning 37.5 hours from Saturday through Wednesday, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The schedule might be adjusted based on operational needs with reasonable notice. The State Fair Administrator will supervise and coordinate all aspects of the fair's event management, ensuring seamless execution of large-scale events.
