The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets, oversee project execution, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and partners.

As State Business Manager, you will be at the forefront of aligning people, operations, and strategy to meet both regional and corporate business goals. You will take ownership of the financial health of the business, including revenue streams, gross profit margins, cash flow, and EBITDA, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to propel profitable growth. Building and mentoring high-performing teams will be a critical component of your role, empowering managers and front-line leaders to excel. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping RES's culture by embodying the company’s values, encouraging transparency, accountability, collaboration, and supporting successful recruitment and employee development.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve cultivating a clear commercial vision tailored to the Tennessee and Georgia markets. You will identify new business opportunities, nurture key customer and channel partnerships, and strategically balance the pipeline between short-term wins and long-term growth. Active engagement with ongoing projects is expected to maintain visibility on site performance standards and ensure that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Additionally, your ability to translate complex market insights into strategic actions will directly influence the business’s success.

This position demands a strong financial acumen, exceptional leadership abilities, and experience managing multi-market operations within a project-based business environment.
