Job Description

Maintaining product freshness and quality through proper inventory practices such as labeling, stocking, and monitoring "sell by" dates is critical. The employee will also manage the use of various kitchen and coffee shop equipment including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machines, blenders, computerized scales, and steamers in compliance with company guidelines.
Safety is a top priority, with responsibilities including adherence to safety procedures and food safety regulations, identifying and reporting unsafe conditions, and practicing preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment. The employee must be vigilant in reporting any customer or employee accidents, safety risks, issues, or illegal activities including theft and fraud. The role demands someone capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts in a cooperative and nonconfrontational manner, and acting with honesty and integrity concerning customer and business information.
Additionally, the job requires the ability to follow directions, seek assistance when necessary, and provide support and assistance to diverse groups, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
