Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment
- treat customers and employees fairly and ethically

- answer product questions and make suggestions
- collaborate with associates to achieve store goals
- prepare beverage selections to recipe and customer requests
- tender transactions using company best practices
- offer product samples and inform customers of specials
- provide fresh products with correct portion sizes
- recommend coffee shop items to customers
- use coffee shop equipment according to guidelines
- prepare, package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise
- check product quality and review sell by dates
- maintain and use kitchen equipment properly
- label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
- report ordering and shipping discrepancies
- stay current with ads and safety procedures
- reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions
- practice preventive maintenance on equipment
- notify management of accidents, safety risks, or illegal activities
- manage conflict in a nonconfrontational manner
