Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality as per policies and requirements
- Ensure safe and organized food storage
- Maintain serving schedules ensuring food items meet menu specifications
- Maintain sanitary conditions following health and safety codes
- Maintain accurate weekly inventory
- Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
- Supervise, evaluate, counsel, and promote employee growth and teamwork
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain maintenance logs for equipment
- Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- Perform preventative maintenance checklist
- Recommend replacement of equipment
- Multitask efficiently
- Perform additional duties assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees when necessary
- Oversee daily catering event preparation and timely delivery
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain communication with staff
- Perform cashier duties as needed
