This position is for a Starbucks Barista within the Food City environment, specifically located at 7510 Asheville Highway, Knoxville, TN. The role involves creating the Starbucks experience for Food City shoppers by delivering prompt and courteous service along with quality beverages and products. As a Starbucks Barista at Food City, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers receive consistent, high-quality coffee, tea, and food items by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. You will assist in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming kiosk environment that reflects both the Starbucks and Food City brands. Key responsibilities include taking customer orders efficiently, preparing and stocking Starbucks products such as whole bean coffee and food items, and managing cash register transactions through the POS system. The Barista role also demands active engagement with customers through product recommendations, suggestive selling, and product sampling. You will play an important role in supporting the store management by assisting with opening and closing operations, and ensuring that all store policies, safety measures, and food handling procedures are properly followed by the team.
