In this role, you will create hand-crafted and high-quality beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, and fruit blends. You will greet customers warmly, take orders, manage cash and electronic payment systems, and maintain a spotless and inviting environment in line with health and safety standards. Beyond the artistry of coffee preparation, the Lead Barista plays a critical role in training peers, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous related experience in customer service or food preparation
  • Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Open availability preferred
  • Ability to operate cash registers
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Strong teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Team-oriented and adaptable
  • Previous experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation and inventory control preferred
  • Barista certification may be required
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks
  • Record all sales, collect cash/credit card/electronic payments and operate a cash register
  • Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and preparation areas
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Support and uphold a healthy and safe work environment
  • Assist with training and guiding other baristas
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
