As a certified minority-owned business, SodexoMagic is dedicated to uplifting the communities it serves through local partnerships and creative, high-quality service offerings. The company values diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a culture where every employee is respected, heard, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. SodexoMagic emphasizes fairness, respect, and belonging as core workplace values, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for all its team members. Employment with SodexoMagic offers a meaningful career opportunity where daily actions have a significant impact and personnel are encouraged to thrive uniquely and purposefully.

The Starbucks Lead Barista role at SodexoMagic, stationed at the SAFE CREDIT UNION CONVENTION CENTER, is more than just a barista position—it is a chance to be an artisan and champion of fair trade while delivering top-notch handcrafted beverages and foods. This role requires flexibility with varying shifts and open availability is preferred. Full-time and part-time employment options are available with a competitive pay rate of $23.60 per hour. Beyond beverage craftsmanship, your responsibilities include operating cash registers, managing transactions, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in all work areas.

This position demands reliability and punctuality, including timely attendance for scheduled shifts. In addition to the core tasks, baristas may undertake various duties depending on business needs and client requirements. The successful candidate embodies teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a safe and healthy workplace environment. Prior experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation, and inventory control is preferred. Some locations may require Starbucks Barista certification, reflecting the brand's commitment to excellence. Working at SodexoMagic means being part of a company that not only delivers excellent service but also supports its employees with flexible schedules, continuous training and professional advancement opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote personal and family well-being.

SodexoMagic offers an encouraging workplace with an understanding approach to work-life balance, enabling employees to be present for important life moments. Employees have access to ongoing development programs and career growth opportunities, turning daily jobs into fulfilling careers. The benefits include paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) plans, discount programs, and additional site-specific perks such as free meals during shifts, uniforms, safety shoes, and transit support. The company openly encourages candidates to discuss any questions about benefits during the interview process to ensure clarity and satisfaction. By joining SodexoMagic as a Starbucks Lead Barista, you become part of an enterprise that values diversity, inclusion, respect, and employee well-being while making a tangible impact on the communities served and the customer experiences delivered.
