The Starbucks Counter Attendant role at Graton Resort & Casino is essential in delivering an outstanding guest experience. This position involves interacting directly with guests by taking orders, recommending beverages, food, and retail products, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the outlet area. The Counter Attendant plays a key role in promoting the brand’s values through friendly, timely service and effective communication. Responsibilities include handling cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale system, preparing food and beverage items to meet quality standards, and using suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Adherence to health and safety regulations is mandatory, alongside maintaining an organized and well-stocked environment. This role requires flexibility with scheduling, including working various shifts, weekends, and holidays. The position offers a pay rate of $19.50 per hour and outlines physical requirements such as the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for the duration of the shift, and perform tasks requiring good hand-eye coordination and sensory faculties. Job Requirements

- Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Graton Gaming Commission
- Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties
- Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's service standards at all times
- Greet guests with a smile and a pleasant disposition in a timely manner
- Prepare food and beverage items for guests
- Use suggestive selling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure that supplies in outlet areas are well stocked
- Operate the Point of Sale system, cash handling, and accurately record guest's orders
- Resolve guest complaints
- Complete side work and any additional daily tasks
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
