The company emphasizes a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunity employment, ensuring all team members are respected and valued regardless of their background or identity.
The Starbucks Café Manager role is an exciting leadership position within Aramark, located at the bustling Seattle Convention Center. This role entails supervising all daily operations of a high-volume Starbucks café, a venue known for delivering premium coffee experiences and outstanding guest service. This includes recruiting, hiring, training, and developing café associates and shift supervisors while ensuring compliance with Starbucks brand standards and company policies.
Compensation for this salaried position ranges from $91,000 to $93,000 annually, reflecting the competitive nature of this management role within a major event-driven venue. The Café Manager is expected to lead operational excellence during peak traffic periods, including conventions and special events, maintaining beverage and food quality, managing inventory and costs, and ensuring a safe environment for employees and guests alike.
In this dynamic role, the manager must demonstrate strong financial acumen to manage budgets and operational metrics effectively while driving revenue growth through sales analysis and implementation of action plans. Key responsibilities include scheduling to meet business demands efficiently, overseeing cash handling, maintaining inventory controls, and guaranteeing compliance with health and safety regulations.
Aramark also offers a comprehensive benefits package to this position, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, work/life resources, retirement savings plans such as 401(k), paid parental leave, disability coverage, and paid days off. Benefits may vary based on location and employee eligibility, underscoring Aramark's commitment to supporting its workforce comprehensively.
This role requires the ability to work flexible hours—encompassing evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days—reflecting the nature of the convention center environment, which is fast-paced and event-driven. The position demands excellent leadership skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize in high-pressure circumstances, and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences in alignment with Starbucks and Aramark’s standards.
