Job Requirements

- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays

Job Duties
- Follow and ensure team follows Food Division standards and best practices
- Provide leadership and direct associates in delivering food products and exceptional customer service during shifts
- Ensure team prepares and presents drip coffee, cold beverages, espresso bar, and pastry products to Starbucks standards
- Follow Starbucks merchandising, product presentation, and signing standards
- Ensure team meets speed of service standards
- Monitor food quality using Starbucks checklists
- Demonstrate positive role modeling for Starbucks Simply Service Steps
- Support strong working relationships with store management
- Provide ongoing training, feedback, coaching, and staff motivation to maximize team performance and satisfaction
- Maintain role model standards in grooming, professional appearance, and communication
- Meet highest standards of workplace safety, sanitation, and equipment care
- Utilize forecasts, daily sales reports, and weekly food cost and payroll reports to meet profit/loss goals
- Assist in preparation and production of all menu items
- Assist in ordering food, beverage, dry and paper goods based on budget and needs
- Assist in product receiving and follow inventory best practices
- Perform other duties as needed
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities
