Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Ability to safely lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments and with common allergens
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to remain mobile during scheduled shifts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and multi-frequency devices
- Work independently and in teams
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and OSHA guidelines
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by preparing quality handcrafted Starbucks beverages and food
- Uphold and maintain food and beverage standards including Starbucks brand and food safety protocols
- Execute food and beverage operational tasks such as deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, inventory accuracy, rotation, and cleaning
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process and fulfill digital guest orders accurately and timely
- Maintain a clean and inviting dining area throughout all operating hours
- Engage authentically with guests to understand and meet their needs
- Follow all food safety requirements and monitoring procedures including temperature control and handling of recalled or expired items
