Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
Ability to interpret instructions, reports and information
Ability to handle cash register operations as needed
Ability to climb ladders if needed
Ability to safely handle and move merchandise, occasionally lifting up to 44 pounds
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in refrigeration, freezer temperatures and handle allergens
Ability to remain mobile throughout the scheduled shift.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and ability to operate technology equipment
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Ability to remain composed and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by creating handcrafted beverages and managing food quality and freshness
Ensure compliance with state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines
Greet guests promptly and engage warmly to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
Assist guests in finding products and resolving issues for a seamless shopping experience
Maintain food and beverage areas including replenishment, inventory accuracy, cleaning, and organization
Support Starbucks Drive Up process by fulfilling digital orders accurately and on time
Follow Target and Starbucks standards in executing all food and beverage processes
Maintain a clean and inviting dining area throughout the shift
Monitor and record temperature-sensitive items according to safety practices
Execute promotional and sampling best practices
Complete training and certifications related to Starbucks product quality control
Promote a culture of safety, ethical conduct, and regulatory compliance
Assist with guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-Up operations
Perform all duties following food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines
Ensure accurate handling of cash register operations as needed
Support teamwork and assist peers in meeting business and guest needs
Adhere to flexible work schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Follow proper inventory management including ordering, stocking, and culling of products.
