Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Ability to climb ladders and safely handle merchandise frequent lifting up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to work in areas where common allergens may be present
- Capability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Ability to follow all food safety and handling procedures
- Ability to comply with federal, state, and local beverage laws
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal communication skills to resolve guest questions
- Knowledge of food safety and OSHA guidelines is a plus
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests and prioritizing their needs
- Uphold and maintain execution of food and beverage standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, culling, rotation, cleaning, defect handling, signing and backstock
- Support Starbucks Drive Up process by fulfilling digital guest orders accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout operating hours
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Complete required Starbucks trainings related to quality control and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
