Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Capability to interpret instructions, reports and information accurately
- Ability to handle cash register operations as needed
- Physical ability to climb ladders and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and environments with common allergens
- Capability to remain mobile for duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- Ability to communicate effectively using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests warmly and engaging with them
- Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
- Uphold and maintain the execution of food and beverage standards including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing
- Execute food and beverage processes such as deliveries, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing and storing reserve product
- Follow all Starbucks and Target routines and food safety requirements including monitoring temperature sensitive items and completing cleaning tasks
- Support Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
- Complete training and certifications related to quality control and compliance
- Work safely and support guest services such as cashier backup, order pick up, and Drive-Up while complying with all laws and policies
- Perform additional duties based on business needs
