Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service or retail experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 44 pounds, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- Capable of handling allergen exposure
- Ability to use communication devices and technology as directed
- Strong interpersonal and guest service skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and food safety guidelines
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience and craft quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operation
- Uphold and maintain all Food and Beverage Standards and Starbucks brand and food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, cleaning, and inventory management
- Support Starbucks Drive-Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and promptly
- Maintain an inviting and clean dining area for guests at all times
- Interact genuinely with guests to understand and meet their needs
- Follow proper packaging, labeling, and food safety protocols and monitor temperature-sensitive items
- Complete required Starbucks trainings related to quality control and demonstrate ethical conduct and compliance
- Support guest services like back-up cashier, order pickup, and maintain compliance with beverage laws
- Perform additional duties based on business needs
