Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous food service or retail experience helpful
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to stand and remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
- ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- ability to work in varying temperature environments including refrigeration and freezer conditions
- ability to climb ladders if needed
- ability to access all areas of the building
- accurately handle cash register operations
- effective communication skills
- commitment to safety and compliance with federal, state and local laws
- authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- work independently and with a team
- resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests warmly, assisting them and resolving issues
- support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
- uphold and maintain the execution of food and beverage standards, including food deliveries, replenishment, inventory accuracy, cleaning, signing and organizing products
- follow all food safety requirements and monitor temperature sensitive food items, recording data as outlined in best practices
- support Starbucks Drive Up process and order fulfillment accurately and timely
- engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- complete all cleaning tasks, identify and handle damaged or expired items according to best practices
- maintain inventory accuracy and execute sampling best practices
- complete all required training and certifications related to product quality control and safety
- work in a safe manner complying with safety policies and report hazards
- support guest services such as backup cashier and order pickups
- perform all other duties based on business needs
