Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physically able to climb ladders and lift up to 44 pounds
Reliable and punctual attendance
Ability to work in varying temperatures from 34°F to -10°F
Ability to work in environments where allergens may be present
Capable of standing and remaining mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
Basic cash handling skills
Compliance with safety policies and training
Ability to follow food safety guidelines
Willingness to work as part of a team and independently

Job Qualifications

Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred
Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and technology
Ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to resolve guest questions efficiently
Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills
Ability to learn training material promptly

Job Duties

Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks beverages
Manage food quality and freshness
Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines
Deliver an exceptional guest experience by ensuring fresh and abundant shopping experiences
Uphold and maintain execution of Food & Beverage standards
Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, cleaning, signing, and organizing
Support the Starbucks Drive Up process ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain inviting dining area throughout shift
Engage with guests to meet or exceed Starbucks standards
Produce hand crafted beverages and food according to recipes
Monitor and record temperature sensitive food items
Complete and document cleaning tasks
Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
Execute sampling best practices
Stay knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services
Complete required training and certifications related to quality control
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
Work safely and report hazards
Support guest services including cashier backup and order pick up
Create welcoming experiences with guest interactions
Perform additional duties as business needs dictate
