Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in environments with refrigeration and freezer temperatures
- Capability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to climb ladders as needed
- Access all areas of the building as required
- Ability to interpret instructions and reports
- Comply with all safety policies and report hazards
- Demonstrate ethical conduct and compliance at all times
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate effectively using technology such as handheld scanners
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capable of maintaining focus and composure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately when needed
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting and engaging with guests
- Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
- Uphold and maintain execution of Food & Beverage standards including replenishment, food safety, and presentation
- Prepare handcrafted Starbucks beverages and food items according to recipes
- Follow all food safety requirements including temperature monitoring and sanitation
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and timely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Starbucks space
- Engage with guests to exceed their expectations
- Complete required training and certifications
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pickup, and Drive-Up operations
- Execute sampling best practices and inventory accuracy measures
- Perform all other duties as needed based on business requirements
