Job Requirements
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information accurately
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb ladders when necessary
- Safely scan, handle and move merchandise including lifting up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions
- Capable of working in varying temperatures and elements, including exposure to common allergens
- Ability to remain mobile through the duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve guest questions promptly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests warmly and assisting their needs
- Help guests find products and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
- Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
- Deliver fresh and abundant food and beverage products, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including replenishment, inventory accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing reserve products
- Follow all routines and protocols for Starbucks operations including digital order fulfillment and Drive Up service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Starbucks area, including dining space, and complete required training and certifications
