Job Description
The Rally Hotel is an independent, lifestyle hotel situated in Denver's dynamic downtown area, specifically in McGregor Square. This property offers a rich blend of Colorado's unique culture, combining the historic significance of Denver's railway and industrial roots with the natural beauty of the nearby Rocky Mountains and expansive mile-high skies. With 182 rooms, The Rally Hotel is positioned adjacent to Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, providing guests with unparalleled access to sports, entertainment, and cultural events. The full city block surrounding the hotel is a vibrant hub featuring an array of restaurants, retail shops, and a circulated plaza equipped with a stadium-sized LED screen that hosts various events including sports entertainment, movie nights, and private functions. This setting creates a lively atmosphere that both locals and visitors enjoy year-round.
The Rally Hotel embodies a playful, inspiring spirit that encourages guests and staff alike to embrace Colorado's adventurous and welcoming character. The hotel prioritizes excellent service, a high-quality guest experience, and a vibrant work environment. They are currently looking to expand their team with the addition of a Barista, a cornerstone role within their cafe operations. This part-time, hourly position offers a competitive wage of $19.29 per hour and is key to delivering the consistently excellent service and quality beverages that guests expect. The Barista plays a fundamental role in ensuring customer satisfaction by crafting beverages with care, maintaining store operations, and representing the hotel’s brand with a positive and professional attitude.
The Barista at The Rally Hotel is expected to not only prepare coffee and other beverages but also to build an enthusiastic base of satisfied customers through attentive service and product quality. They will support the day-to-day store operations and contribute to the establishment’s profitability by upholding standards and engaging positively with every guest. This position demands the ability to learn all aspects of the barista role, including operating equipment, handling cash transactions accurately, and understanding product recipes and quality standards. The role also requires strong interpersonal skills to work as part of a team and interact with customers in a welcoming manner. Physical requirements include the ability to lift items up to 70 pounds, move around the coffee shop continuously, and remain on one’s feet for prolonged periods. The work environment is physically active and indoor, demanding stamina and dedication.
In addition to competitive pay, The Rally Hotel provides several valuable benefits to their part-time, hourly employees. Associates can enjoy paid sick leave, participation in a 401(k) retirement program with employer matching, access to a health subscription app, employee assistance programs, the option to purchase pet insurance, and generous discounts on hotel stays, dining, and more. Referral bonuses of up to $1,000 per successful hire also incentivize team growth. Candidates looking to join The Rally Hotel will find a company that values their contributions and fosters a supportive and energetic workplace focused on making every guest experience memorable.
