This opportunity is a regular part-time role that offers hourly wages starting at $19.29 with additional tips. The Barista position is fundamental to the café's operations, acting as the cornerstone for excellent guest experiences. Individuals hired for this role will embody professionalism and positivity, with a commitment to delivering high-quality coffee beverages and exemplary customer service. Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role strongly preferred
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to hear timers and coordinate with other baristas
- Must be able to check food quality and read production charts/recipes
- Ability to interact with guests in a positive, hospitable manner
- Must be able to use the cash register and collect money with accuracy
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Position regularly involves lifting product cases weighing up to 70 lbs
- Pushing and pulling carts is required
- Regular bending to lift items and supplies
- Mobility involves regularly moving all around the coffee shop
- Continuous standing during the shift
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role strongly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to interact with guests in a positive, hospitable manner
- Ability to use the cash register and collect money with accuracy
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
