- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Ability to pass drug screening
- One to three months related experience or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience
- Knowledge of core products and processes in a coffee shop
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with American money
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, manuals, and corporate communications
Job Duties
- Diagnose customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and communicate positively and professionally
- Actively solicit feedback and consider multiple perspectives in decision-making
- Build effective working relationships with peers, team members, and managers
- Demonstrate knowledge of core products and processes and prepare and/or serve beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Operate cash register and handle cash with accuracy
