Macy's is currently seeking a dedicated Barista for its Starbucks cafes located inside the store. This role is both customer-facing and hands-on, centered around creating and selling Starbucks coffee beverages while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and customer service. As a Barista at Macy's Starbucks, you will be expected to have thorough product knowledge and utilize Starbucks' Simple Service Steps and Magic Selling skills to provide a memorable experience for every customer. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with schedules including weekend shifts to meet business needs. Full-time employees typically work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues work 12-24 hours weekly. In this role, the Barista is responsible for mastering the preparation of coffee beverages across various stations, including drip coffee, cold beverages, espresso bar, and pastry. The Barista will educate customers about food and beverage offerings, provide samples, and ensure the presentation and merchandising align with Starbucks standards. The position requires the ability to open and close the area efficiently, maintain proper stock levels (PAR), and execute duties swiftly while preserving quality and service standards.

This role also emphasizes personal professionalism—upholding cleanliness, hygiene, and dress codes reflective of both Macy's and Starbucks' values.
