Job Duties
- Comply with opening and closing tasks such as organizing supplies and necessary tools
- clean all equipment and areas
- lock doors
- organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- enter orders into the cash register system and process customer payments
- take orders, input them into the MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee
- ensure appliances like coffee machines are turned on and off at proper times
- clean tables and café cart areas
- maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
- obtain necessary change for expected transaction levels
- balance the cash register at the end of the shift
- complete designated cashier reports
- resolve discrepancies
- deliver receipts and secure the cash register
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- maintain the confidentiality of company information and protect company property
- support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- assist the team in achieving common goals
- meet quality assurance expectations and standards
- move, lift, transport, push, drag, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds or equivalent without assistance
