Job Requirements
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- interpret instructions, reports and information
- accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- climb up and down ladders if needed
- scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including lifting product up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 44 pounds
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures
- capable of exposure to varying temperatures, humidity and other elements
- ability to remain mobile for duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- work independently and with a team
- resolve guest questions quickly
- attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests at 10ft with a smile, make eye contact, or wave
- greet the guest at 4ft with a warm, helpful interaction
- help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
- end every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
- actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
- adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
- deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations
- uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
- execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing and storing reserve product
- always be aware of current and future promotions within Starbucks
- follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver consistent guest experience while maintaining food safety
- support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout shift
- engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards
- follow all food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items
- complete and record all cleaning tasks as outlined in best practices
- locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to best practices
- ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders
- follow proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure accurate inventory recording
- execute sampling best practices
- complete all required training and certifications related to Starbucks product quality control
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- work safely at all times and comply with all safety policies and training
- support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick up and Drive-up while maintaining compliance
- perform other duties based on business needs
