The position offered is a full-time, non-management role within the Food and Beverage and Culinary department of Marriott Stanton South Beach. Job Duties
- organize provisions and necessary instruments for opening and closing
- clean all equipment and designated areas
- lock doors securely after closing
- stock and maintain work areas
- enter orders into the cash register system and process customer payments
- take orders and input them into the MICROS system
- prepare food and coffee
- ensure appliances are turned on and off at appropriate times
- clean tables and cart areas throughout the day
- maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils and equipment
- manage cash transactions and reconcile the cash register at shift end
- complete cashier reports and resolve discrepancies
- adhere to company safety policies and report maintenance or safety issues
- maintain professional appearance and uniform
- protect company property and confidentiality
- support team members and treat them with respect
- meet quality assurance standards
- perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 25 pounds
