Job Duties

  • organize provisions and necessary instruments for opening and closing
  • clean all equipment and designated areas
  • lock doors securely after closing
  • stock and maintain work areas
  • enter orders into the cash register system and process customer payments
  • take orders and input them into the MICROS system
  • prepare food and coffee
  • ensure appliances are turned on and off at appropriate times
  • clean tables and cart areas throughout the day
  • maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils and equipment
  • manage cash transactions and reconcile the cash register at shift end
  • complete cashier reports and resolve discrepancies
  • adhere to company safety policies and report maintenance or safety issues
  • maintain professional appearance and uniform
  • protect company property and confidentiality
  • support team members and treat them with respect
  • meet quality assurance standards
  • perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 25 pounds
  • stand, walk or sit for extended periods
  • read and inspect various information formats
  • communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers
  • perform additional reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
