Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move merchandise frequently up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and with common allergens
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb ladders when necessary
- Ability to remain mobile during shift
- Compliance with safety policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs
- Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, inventory control, food safety, cleaning, and product organization
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Maintain an inviting dining area and engage with guests to exceed their expectations
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications, following all quality and safety guidelines
- Support guest services including cashier backup and order pickup while maintaining compliance with relevant laws
