The Food & Beverage team at Target plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and availability of all food and drink offerings within the store, ensuring that products are fresh, replenished in a timely manner, properly priced, and accurately signed on the sales floor. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to access all building areas to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpretation of instructions, reports, and information
- Capability to accurately handle cash register operations
- Ability to climb ladders as needed
- Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely and efficiently
- Ability to work in environments including refrigeration and freezer conditions
- Ability to remain mobile throughout shifts
- Compliance with safety policies and practices
- Willingness to work varying shifts and take required breaks
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move products up to 44 pounds occasionally
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests warmly and assisting with their needs
- Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage standards including food deliveries, replenishment, rotation, and cleaning
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards
- Follow food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive items
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of digital guest orders
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
