Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to physically handle merchandise including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in environments with refrigeration and freezer temperatures
- Ability to remain mobile and active during scheduled shifts
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow instructions, interpret reports and handle cash register operations as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests and team members
- Compliance with federal, state and local food safety and adult beverage laws
- Ability to climb ladders if required
- Ability to work safely, report hazards and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to communicate effectively and operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in fast-paced settings and manage multiple tasks within timeframes
- Ability to comply with safety policies and report hazards promptly
- Flexible and adaptable to varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests and delivering on service commitments
- Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage standards including food deliveries, replenishment, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process by ensuring digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to Starbucks specifications on recipe cards
- Follow all food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space as outlined
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive-up while ensuring compliance with regulations
- Assist peers and adjust to business needs to maintain a positive, respectful attitude and deliver a consistent guest experience
- Complete all required training and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
